Not the waifus. And no, I’m not a whale, either. But I DO feel compelled to give them some money because of one simple and often underappreciated category: the music!

This may not be a review of Genshin Impact, but know that what I thought was a cheap copy of Breath of the Wild turned out to actually be superior to its influence in multiple ways. I’m just very, very wrong about this game, and I’m glad I decided to actually give it a proper chance beyond the first 10 hours.
